our request
of you

Our dream is that our guests come with something creative for the festival — a poem, a painting, a song, a show, a game — whatever you want and are comfortable with. We’ll come with more info later, but for now we wanted to get you to start thinking :)

FAQs

Where can i park?

Disc golf: There’s a parking lot at the meet-up spot (Kongeveien utfartsparkering). There’s also free street parking near us (St. Halvards gate 67) if you’re joining kebabs at ours afterwards.

Pizza party: There’s some parking space right outside the house at Kirkeveien 165A Asker. If there’s no space, you can also park at Asker Menighet which is very close by (3-5 min walk).

Ceremony: There’s some parking space right outside Vålerenga church, though this is limited. There’s a lot of street parking nearby (pay using EasyPark). We’re looking into whether it’s OK to park at Vålerenga skole.

Coffees and pastries: Kiosk! Oslo is walking distance from the church. If you want to move your car, there is paid street parking nearby (pay using EasyPark).

Dinner: There’s some parking space right outside Kulinarisk Akademi Sagene (unsure if this is paid or not!). There’s also street parking nearby (pay using EasyPark).

Where should I stay?

If you need to find a place to stay, we recommend finding something in Gamle Oslo (Tøyen, Ensjø, Helsfyr). The cheapest hotel we’ve found is Super Stay Hotel. Here’s a map of Gamle Oslo:

NB: Thursday 29th of May is Ascension day which is a bank holiday in Norway. This means shops will be closed! Oh, and most shops are closed on Sundays too :)))

I would like to give you a gift, what do you want?

The main thing we want is your presence (and your creativity). If you really want to give us something, we would appreciate a donation through Gi Effektivt or a transfer to us on Vipps (47855007) for our honeymoon. If you really want to give us something else, contact us and we’ll give some gift ideas!

what should i wear?

Something festive that you feel comfortable in!

For disc golf, the most important thing is that you wear shoes you’re okay with getting dirty. We normally wear chill athletic wear or hiking wear :)

And remember to bring a bathing suit if you want to join swimming on the Sunday!

The temperatures will be between 12-18 degrees - so bring a sweater / coat!
